Point of View

The best way to move forward is to go back. Back to simplicity. Back to goodness. Back to what was real. Back to honest ingredients, unadulterated tastes, intriguing textures. If that sounds good to you, you'll understand why we think it's so important to go back....

Go back to Nature

Today stress is a major issue. It is found in every thought and action. The best way to de-stress yourself is to go back to Nature and learn more about it.

Music is not man's prerogative. It is found in abundance in nature. Bird song, thunder, waves washing the shore and the river rippling across mountains produce their own melody. I am all praise to musicians and nature's gift to man -- the sense of sound! Music.

The memories of fjords in Norway , is fresh in my mind even after five years. While sailing from Flam to Gudawagan I saw the high mountains stand silently, the cool breeze playing with water was giving an impression like someone is playing "Jaltarang". So far I can remember I was deeply stressed but the fabulous view before me slowly had its effect on me and in a few minutes I was feeling different. The stress was no more there and a sort of ecstasy reigned all over me.

According to a recent Study by Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital , 'people who made a point of looking at flowers first thing in the morning reported feeling cheerier and even more energetic throughout the day'. Beyond their physical beauty, flowers possess distinct sensory qualities that can boost energy, tame tension and brighten your mood. Essential oils derived from plants and flowers have been proven to increase oxygen flow to the brain, stimulating positive feelings that can balance energy levels or have a calming effect. These essential oils are often used in aroma therapy treatments to both soothe and stimulate the senses.

But with time, we have some how lost the true essence of our festivals and the present ways of celebrating festivals actually harm the environment rather than benefitting it and us. The need of the hour is to create awareness about how we may return back to the true ways of celebration.

Have we all heard the age old saying "a healthy body possesses a sound mind." Let's go for some mind cleansing with music and I emphasise -- Nature's music!

It's no wonder, the natural beauty here beckons for you to be outside.
