Singapore based Tiger Airways is going to initiate its operations in India from this October .
In their first step the airline will operate fligts to Chennai and Kochi. The airline has just added
50 new airbus A320 aircraft bringing its total fleet to 70.
Tony Davis, CEO- Tiger Airways said that the airline is very excited to launch its base in India
which a very promising landscape for the growing aviation industry. If we get good response we
will look to add frequencies to provide more flights. Apart from Chennai and Kochi, the carrier
has received air rights to fly to Goa,Travandrum, kolkata and Kozhikode. According To Tony
Davis, Tiger Airways is Asia Pacific’s true low-fare airline and offers passengers safe, reliable and
convenient point to point air travel apart from low fares.
