Travel World's Prestigious Accolade
to Coincide with CW Games in Delhi
Travel and Tourism companies and organizations all over the world, representing every industry sector, will be fighting for their chance to be recognized by the 'Oscar' of the travel industry called The World Travel Awards this year. There are different regional categories of this event.
The Grand Tour of the award kicks off with the Middle EastCeremony, being held again this year in the exciting and rapidly changing emirates of Dubai on 3rd May. The event will take place at the new luxurious, The Address Dubai marina. This premier hotel stands tall in the heart of one ofDubai's most vibrant neighbourhoods, where crystal waters shimmer against modern architecture and luxury yachts moor along side trendsetting restaurants with 200 luxurious rooms, five relaxing spa, spectacular infinity pool and state of the art meeting and event facilities. The Address Dubai marina is the perfect venue for the 2010 World Travel Awards Middle east ceremony. The awards will cover different categories such as Middle East's leading airline, Beach Resort, Business Travel Agency, Destination, Hotel and Private jet Charter.
To be attended by leading industry figures, the World Travel Awards Africa and Indian Ocean Ceremony 2010 will take place this July in Johannesburg, South Africa. This event is all set to be an outstanding success and a testament to the extraordinary innovation and diversity that is seen in the African tourism industry. Last year more than 200 organizations were nominat ed in 75 categories for the Africa and Indian Ocean Region, including airlines, hotels, car hire, destinations, resorts, spas and travel agencies.
World Travel Awards North & Central America and Caribbean Ceremony 2010 is scheduled
September 11, in Orlando, Florida, USA. Orlando is the exciting location for this year's event. The awards will unveil who is the best of the best in the region. Offering nearly 100 attractions (including the world-famous Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld), 112,000 hotel rooms and more than 5,300 restaurants, it's easy to see why Orlando has evolved to become one of the World's leading vacation destinations. More than 50 million people visit the region annually.
This year's prestigious World Travel Awards Europe Ceremony will be held at the Rixos Premium Belek, a leading in Antalya, turkey- the pearl of the Mediterranean. Travel and tourism companies and organizations from across Europe, will be fighting for their chance to be recognized by this travel epitome. The Rixos Premium Belek is a leading resort hotel located in Belek's Ileribasi district, just 30 minutes from Antalya International Airport. The hotel covers an area of 400,000 sq km and is built in a forest ofpine and pistachio trees with a 1,000 metre long sandy beach, 1,700 beds and a staff of 900!
The award's Asia & Australia Ceremony 2010 will take place in The Claridges, Surajkund, near Delhi, the capital and third largest city of India, to coincide with the Commonwealth Games 2010 this October. All eyes will be on Delhi when they host the XIX Commonwealth Games from 3-14 October. Delhi is undergoing extensive rejuvenation and transformation, to ensure it looks its best for visitors during the Games. The Games will bring positive benefits to the Indian tourism industry.

The World Travel Awards South America Ceremony 2010 will be hosted by Rio de Janerio, Brazil in October. Rio de Janerio is the second major city of Brazil and is unquestionably delightful place, with natural wonders, iconic beaches and the night life as legendary as the city's carnival. The ceremony is timed to coincide with ABAV 2010- Fair of the Americas. It is the most important tourism event held in the Americas. The nominations include, South America's leading cruise port, Golf and Ski Resort entries.
The Grand Final Ceremony in London on 7th November will be the culmination o f a year long search for the very best travel brands in the world, covering seven continents and featuring over 3,600 nominees. Winners from the six regional events will fight it out for the ultimate travel accolade. Nearly 1000 senior management and decision makers from different parts of the World will come together at this event. |
