The recent years have seen a remarkable change in the attitude of Indian tourists. Generally, an Indian tourist was happy to go around his own country, visiting the age-old tourist places. The scenario has changed after the globalization and now the Indians have also started touring the world. The attractions for them though have been limited and conventional. They generally tour Far East, Australia, USA and some parts of Europe.
We have endeavored to make a change of scene at least for our readers who might well be the potential tourists. The scene is shifted this time to African countries, especially Malawi. The Warm Heart of Africa is beating faster and the legendary welcome is there for all who wish to experience the unrivaled combination of Lake, Landscape and Wildlife in one of Africa's most beautiful countries. Blessed with a number of contrasting natural beauties, Malawi is like none other country in Africa: small, yet with an immense diversity of scenery and a vast inland sea. To the north there are rugged highlands with rolling hills in the Nyika and Vwanza plateau, while in the South, traversing the escarpment that forms part of the Great African Rift Valley, lay the lowlands of the Shire Valley. Lake Malawi is the country's centerpiece. Like an inland sea it has endless palm fringed beaches, enclosed by sheer mountains, making it undeniably the focal point for Malawi's tourists.
Like Malawi, Kenya is another country of Africa which is craving for more attentions of the outbound visitors of India. Their authorities are trying hard to sell Kenya as a favoured tourist destination and a business hub as well. The country has attracted the attention of entire world after Obama whose father was a Kenyan, was elected the president of United States of America. Kenya besides its beautiful mountains, has many lakes, forests, wildlife sanctuaries and white sand coasts. We hope the efforts of 'Outbound' will go a long way to promote not only tourism between India and these African nations but also enhance the opportunities of trade and commerce.
So, get ready with us to break the habit of a lifetime. Stop just frequenting US and Far East and try this time the unexploited beauty of Africa. A whole new world of tourism with Lake Malawi and Mount Kenya is waiting for you.
